Footnote from Bill Powell: This building was the old Goldfield's House, some of our older members may recall attending a major incident there decades ago. When an ABC News helicopter crashed through the roof, killing all those on board. The Fire Brigade responded immediately to a full code received upon the fire alarm, due to broken sprinkler pipes. Their response was prior to any 000 calls being made. The FB were the first upon the scene.
